Rules and Policies

Please adhere to the rules and policies outlined below.

  1. Book your session via the mind/ body app before training your client. Failure to do so will result in a double charge for the session.
  2. Train your client only when your appointment is booked in the mind/body app. Booking a client and training him/her at a different time will result in a congestion fee. Talk to Marc / Rick if there is a conflict.
  3. Waivers must be signed before the trainer or client enters the facility.
  4. Cameras are installed for your safety, allowing us to audit sessions and review complaints.
  5. Scheduling and payments are made online via MindBody before the start of any session.
  6. Any session not entered into MindBody before the start of the session will incur a double charge.
  7. There is a 12-hour cancellation policy.
  8. Any trainer looking to return or refund a session must submit a formal request. To request the form, email info@independenttrainingspot.com.
  9. Sessions expire one year after purchase. Three months if bought as a 25 Pack.
  10. Trainer rates are subject to change.
  11. Please open all emails from ITS to be informed of all price changes, closures, events, etc.
  12. Monthly unlimited memberships do not include multiple locations and cannot be transferred to other trainers (even if they work for you).
  13. If you are the last trainer to leave, you must lock the door regardless of the time of day.
  14. Do not leave your client in an empty facility.
  15. You may provide building access codes to your clients, but training clients will not receive eKeys to access the facility.
  16. Be nice, cordial, and work well with others. Be aware of your space and the space of those around you. Setting up multiple station circuits does not make sense when the facility is busy. Professional behavior and decorum are assumed and enforced.
  17. You may workout during off-peak hours at ITS if you train multiple sessions per week and there are no more than three sessions taking place while you workout. Always yield your workouts to those training.
  18. If you have a complaint about a trainer or client, please email info@independenttrainingspot.com immediately with a detailed explanation of what happened, including your name and the other individual, as well as the time, date, and location of the offence.
  19. Ask for consent to touch your clients. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. If complaints arise, we will review cameras and offer video evidence to authorities if necessary.
  20. No dropping weights.
  21. Offer to call 911 for anyone hurt and take notes on all parts of the event.
  22. In case of emergency, please call 911.
